Come join us and improve your English at our fun Thursday classes! Our lessons are is designed to give students an opportunity to socialise in English and cover topics around culture, food, employment and health with the aim of increasing their social networks and wellbeing. If you are interested in learning or improving your English, come and join our free English classes on Thursdays at 11:30 – 1pm at Community House, Meridian Centre, Peacehaven, BN10 8BB.

Support for those experiencing domestic violence
Sompriti has been supporting individuals who have experienced or are currently experiencing domestic violence to access support across East Sussex, through signposting, and providing additional advice and information, including how to access local groups and mental health services. Further information is available through our posters and flyers.
Additionally, our project provides access to free counselling. If you or someone you know would like to access this service please contact us at [email protected].
Volunteers!
Are you interested in volunteering and supporting people in your community? We are looking for volunteer teachers to help run our informal, community English classes. We are currently supporting a number of adult learners in Peacehaven and are planning soon in Newhaven. Our classes provide an opportunity for cultural and language exchange, and provides a safe space for meeting new people. Covid – your thoughts and experiences
