Pearce Foundation Applications open for 2027

Applications for the 2027 Pearce Foundation More than Money programme are now open, closing on 15 November 2026. They are inviting small, early-stage charities, CICs and not-for-profit social enterprises working in Sussex to apply to become a Pearce Foundation Partner, starting in February 2027.

Common Ground Award 2026-2027

The Common Ground Award 2026 to 2027 will invest capital funding into VCSE sector organisations that bring people from different backgrounds together to build community cohesion and resilience. It will support the cost of constructing or renovating facilities, spaces, and equipment to deliver services.

Newhaven Town Council’s Grant Scheme

Newhaven Town Council’s discretionary grants scheme is open for applications now until Monday 6th October 2026. Grants of up to £500, and from £501 to £3,000 are available.

Applications from local charities, voluntary and community groups, sports clubs, social enterprises, and local branches of national charities, where activities directly benefit Newhaven residents are welcome.

Grants are available for charities and community groups who bring together people over 65 living in the more deprived areas of England, Scotland and Wales during the festive period.

The Churchill Fellowship

Funding for UK citizens to travel anywhere in the world for two months, with the aim of gaining knowledge and experience that will bring real benefit to others in their community, profession and in the UK as a whole.

Churchill Fellowships offer support to UK citizens who wish to carry out research projects that require overseas travel. Funding is awarded to allow Fellows to spend up to two months investigating inspiring practice in other countries, either by travelling overseas or online from the UK, in order to identify new and better ways of tackling a wide range of current challenges facing the UK.
