Invitation to tender – Newhaven Heritage Stories
SCDA invites proposals from experienced designers to deliver a suite of creative outputs for the Newhaven Heritage Stories project, including an exhibition, book, heritage trail map and legacy educational resources. The work will be co‑created with community participants, supported by SCDA staff and the community historian, drawing on personal stories, oral histories and archive research. The contract runs from 11 February 2026 to 30 November 2027, with a budget of £10,000 including expenses and VAT.
Applicants must provide methodology, project management plans, relevant experience and a full cost breakdown. Newhaven Heritage Stories project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
