Covid-19 response Let’s Get Working: 25 March 2020
The situation we find ourselves in now is unprecedented and is an exceptional event that will affect us all in some way. Please be reassured that we are doing as much as we can to keep our staff and participants safe, which is why, until further notice, LGW support will be provided over the phone or via email.
Your Connector will make regular contact with you and ensure you are supported through this exceptional time. There is still a huge amount of support that can be accessed including;
- Support and funding to access on-line learning
- Signposting to government information relating to Covid-19
- Signposting to services such as foodbank and CAB
- Telephone advice to keep you motivated and focussed
- Advice about the continuation of job searching and your goals
- LGW employability training resources and one to one coaching over the phone with our Trainers
- Regular updates and resources on our FB page
- Funding to enable you to stay connected at home if you don’t have access to the internet or phone
We will continue to review how we provide this adapted service and will respond to the needs presented to us. The most important thing to do is stay in touch with your Connector and follow the government guidelines.
Stay well, stay safe and stay in touch

Coronavirus (Covid 19):
SCDA are working hard to ensure we minimise any risks of Covid 19 to the people who access our services, staff and volunteers. We are following the latest guidance from government to ensure our staff, volunteers and service users stay safe and healthy.
We continue to maintain our service delivery, where possible and we are adapting delivery so that we can continue to help local people. We will advise of any changes and reductions to our services, for example telephone appointments.
