Walks & outdoor activities

Coronavirus (Covid 19):

SCDA are working hard to ensure we minimise any risks of Covid 19 to the people who access our services, staff and volunteers.  We are following the latest guidance  from government to ensure our staff, volunteers and service users stay safe and healthy.

We continue to maintain our service delivery, where possible and we are adapting delivery so that we can continue to help local people. We will advise of any changes and reductions to our services, for example telephone appointments.

We are lucky to be located at the edge of the South Downs National Park and have one the most iconic and biodiverse coastal stretches in the country. Join one of our range of outdoor activities run by volunteers:

GOSH in the Havens Wednesdays 10am Green and Open Spaces for Health – this FREE friendly walking group meets every Wednesday morning for a 90 minute walk. Fresh air, friendly people, gentle exercise, nature and a ‘cuppa’!

Peacehaven Plodders Every other Sunday 11am – a friendly walking group meeting every other week over autumn and winter, FREE, social and accessible on the South Downs.

Enjoy the Seahaven Coastal Trail!

See the Seahaven Coastal Trail website for more information on how to explore this 12 mile coastal walk from Saltdean to Exceat. There is a map showing where you can get the bus, eat and convenient stops so you can explore various sessions at your leisure www.seahavencoastaltrail.org.uk
