Sussex Community Counselling
Counselling provides the opportunity to speak confidentially to an independent and non-judgemental person. Our counsellors will not tell you what to do but will help you gain a fuller understanding of whatever is on your mind, enabling you to identify new perspectives and working with you to improve your situation.
Our service is for people aged 16 and above living in Newhaven, Lewes, Hailsham and Eastbourne. We offer an initial introductory session where you can ask questions and tell us a bit about what has brought you to counselling. Sussex Community Counselling – a BACP accredited service
Our counselling service has been awarded BACP Service Accreditation. This means that what we offer has been commended by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy as a well organised and professionally run therapeutic counselling provision. We are one of only a handful of services across Sussex to have achieved this.
In their report, the assessor said, “It is clear that Sussex Community Counselling has a range of good policies and procedures in place and that an invaluable service is being provided to the local community, all of which are to be commended.”
