Rural Domestic & Sexual Abuse Recovery Project

18 March 2020

Coronavirus (Covid 19):

SCDA are working hard to ensure we minimise any risks of Covid 19 to the people who access our services, staff and volunteers.  We are following the latest guidance  from government to ensure our staff, volunteers and service users stay safe and healthy.

We continue to maintain our service delivery, where possible and we are adapting delivery so that we can continue to help local people. We will advise of any changes and reductions to our services, for example telephone appointments.

Have you ever experienced domestic violence or sexual abuse and would like some support taking the next steps in your life?

Or do you know of someone who may need that support?

Is this an issue you care about and would like to raise awareness of in your local rural community?

SCDA is working in partnership with Action in Rural Sussex (AiRS) and the Rita Project, funded by the Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) to raise awareness and provide support, particularly in rural communities where access to support may be limited.

For an informal chat with our Support Worker contact us: safefromharm@sussexcommunity.org.uk or text 07825 409552
