Sessional Youth Worker
Term time only – Monday and Wednesday/Friday evenings
Various sessional pay rates apply, dependant on age, qualification and previous experience
Based Newhaven and the Havens area.
Sussex Community Development Association (SCDA) runs a range of projects, services and activities aimed at supporting the involvement of the whole of the community. One of these is Youth Community Development, which provides a wide range of opportunities for young people through drop in sessions and youth clubs.
As a Sessional Youth Worker you will support the Youth team in their delivery of a range of generic activities and targeted services for young people. This role will lead on running football and multi sports with the younger age groups. We can provide a regular 5 hours per week term time only working between the hours of 4.45pm until 7.15pm on a Monday, 6.15pm – 8.45pm on a Wednesday or 6.45pm – 9.15pm on a Friday.
