Information Hub Development Lead
Part time, 30 hours per week
Salary range: £23,541 – £27,041 per annum, pro rata, dependant on previous experience
SCDA and Lewes District CAB have secured funding from the Big Lottery Fund to create a new partnership project called the Information and Advice Hub, which is located in Newhaven.
We are looking for someone who will be responsible for the supervision, co-ordination and development of our Information Hub service delivery. Ideally you will be an experienced service manager with a flair for developing and delivering services to contract which meet community need in a consistently high quality way.
Responsible for developing and leading a team of staff and volunteers, you will manage the services and day-to-day activities of the Information Hub, which works in partnership with specialist advice providers to support clients who are in need of assistance with a variety of welfare, housing, debt & money issues. Previous experience of supporting people to access advice, information services and opportunities, including volunteering is therefore required.
Demonstrating excellent organisational, communication, and project management skills you will also be sensitive to the aims of the service and the organisation as a whole.
This role is are subject to a DBS check and based in Newhaven with some travel to outreach and delivery locations across the Havens.
